Just had DD2s school report and I don't have many people to tell so I thought I would share it with you all

EXH is no longer in their lives so I only have my DM to tell and she isn't always DD2s biggest fan so I thought I would share it with you if you don't mind Smile

DD2 is year 2 and has just had a really lovely report. She isn't always the easiest (though it is improving as she gets older) but the teacher and head teacher have said some lovely things.

Her approach to learning in literacy and numeracy is excellent and the teacher said that she has been a pleasure to teach. The head said that her attitude to learning is exemplary and she has a sunny disposition. She needs extra support in literacy but has gone up 4 levels in reading this year (she was on level 3 in September)

The last couple of years have been quite hard as she has lost her dad (who was pretty rubbish anyway) and now has no contact with his family due to an issue last year. I'm so proud of her but don't want to annoy everyone on facebook so hope you don't mind me annoying you instead Grin

'Attitude to learning exemplary', 'sunny disposition' - what lovely attributes to have. Bless her heart. I'd be proud of her too! Star

Well done both of you Star

That's wonderful. No wonder your heart is bursting with pride. Don't worry about annoying your facebook friends. I'm sure they'd be equally pleased to hear how happy and proud you are.

flamingtoaster · 21/03/2015 10:08

You have every right to be proud - well done to your DD2!

WhenTheDragonsCame · 22/03/2015 23:58

Thank you

She spent the first 2 years of school telling me how much she hated it so it was lovely to read that she is enjoying it now.

I don't think I could have been more proud, though I could quite easily have given all 3 back today!

what a lovely report! Congratulations to you too - you're obviously doing a lot right with her, however hard it may sometimes feel :) X
