Parenting with a non-mol order

Does anyone have any experience of parenting with a non-mol order in place for exdp? Specifically when direct contact between us is not allowed?

Whilst I'm glad to not have the bile directed at me, I can't see how this will work practically with young DC.

Use a contact centre or a third party for handovers

What sort of things are you anticipating will be difficult?

I guess the actual physical handovers, there's not an obvious third party and (at present) there's no requirement for him to have supervised contact.

The other thing is the small, but important stuff to primary school kids. Eg party invites, school disco's, external classes etc.

Is there a court order in place for the contact, or how has it been agreed?

Assuming there is an order in place then a contact centre seems the best option in the circumstances. Did you bring this up in court as an option?

If there is no risk to your dc and you are happy for contact to go ahead not through a contact centre then do you have someone else who can do the drop off or pick ups? What about your parents or your ex's parents?

If there is no-one then a contact centre may still be able to act as a neutral hand over point. Worth looking into as an option.

If you just need a handover place without having contact with your ex then a contact centre may be able to help according to their website.

Thanks gilly, that's really helpful - I didn't realise they did that. At present there is no agreement - that will be happening in the next couple of weeks hopefully.

There is really no-one else who can do the handovers and I didn't want to be backed into a corner of weekends being Fri-Mon because of the order.
