Sleep

Just wondering if anyone else experiences this. Ex says 3yo son sleeps through the night at his. Then when he's with me 11 nights out of 14 - so most of the time - he wakes every 2-3 hours calling for me.

Now ex could be lying because that's his thing, but I suspect on this occasion he might not be. I'm totally exhausted from the sleep deprivation. Does anyone else have a similar experience??

it could be dad dont hear him in my experience they dont unless already awake or abt to wake themselves..my partner says to me u need to stop going to my daughter in the night soon as she crys or put her in our bed cuz she gets use to it then plays on it and she was i stopped wht i was doing and it works. I let her cry a while longer although her dad and brother was at work and sch the next day she went on a while so i went in gave her a huggy then did my thing i wud do whn putting her in bed without talking to her she went to sleep eventually. but my son dont hav a routine time whn he goes to his dads so im guessing he jus goes whn he drops or his dad is ready for bed his self

It is the same in my house with my 8 year old and I honestly believe it is a case of an attachment thing as they are with us 90% of the time. It could also be a case of dad doesnt hear too as stated by previous poster. When me and dd's dad were together and she was a baby I would have to wake him to attend to her so I could get some rest.
