Tax credits

I seperated from my long term partner about two months ago. I work part time and am applying for tax credits.

When i was doing the online calculator it said do not include any maintenance.
I now have my application form and i do not see any section to include maintenance payments. Is this correct that they do not ask for this information?

Yes. Maintenance should never be included when calculations are based on income.

Thank you DevonFolk. I will get my form filled in.

yes correct they do not take into consideration any maintenance as Devonfolk said, odd but maybe I guess they have instances where it is not a consistent payment
