Hi.

I have gave a brief explanation of my situation on a previous post and have received some lovely welcomes :) but in short i am a male to female transexual and a single dad to my daughter. I have been taking female hormones for 3 years which has changed my dramatically but i still live as a man, well i try to which is very hard nowadays. My daughter has never seen me as a woman and nobody else knows what i am doing as in my work and so on.

I have never taken my daughter swimming and she asks me all the time to take her, she goes swimming with her school and loves it and im feeling so much guilt because i cannot take her and would really love to. I feel like im letting her down with this kind of things but a have no idea how its possible for me to do it. Because ive taken female hormones for some time now and had certain procedures done there is no way i can take her and its really getting me down :( does anyone have any ideas on this please ?

Thanks Krissy x

Yes i have a womans brain lol even more so now ive been on the hormones for years, and pretty much have a female body to go with it lol now i just have to start living as a woman and hopefully im on my way to do that now :)

My daughter does go swimming with school which she loves so she does love and i would consider her doing lessons, thanks Ludways :)

Could you wear some board shorts and a rash vest maybe? All acceptable swimwear for the pool and a bit more covering?

What about the changing rooms? Presumably family changing rooms but do you have a female friend who could go swimming with you for a bit of moral support? Smile

Can I ask that you don't do that girly style of swimming though, where you keep your head high in the water (so that your mascara doesn't run) and natter as you float down the shallow end Grin

Thanks seagull70, i dont really have any friends that i would trust, i told a few a couple of years ago and they pretty much said they where fine with it then just slowly cut me out there lives, so im pretty much on my own.

lol well ive started running like a girl so you never know, i might swim like one to lol. its funny what a pair of boobs and hips do to the way you move :/ id have no one to gossip to so i would be ok in that regard :)

Thanks Krissy x
