does anyone have any experience of using deed poll to change their children's name to double bareled?
Currently my dd has my ex's surname and we would like to add mine.
He has parental responsibility and has consented via email so far (I understand about the letters needed as per their website).
How long does the process take?
If I were to put my surname first like
Mine-his then would she appear with the first letter of my name in registers etc?
IF I didnt hypenate and just added my name on the end, would this then become her official surname?
