Hi this is probably in the wrong place! But can anyone help me, im a lone parent with 2 dc currently claiming jsa (hate) iv been offered a 32 hr contract which im over the moon about, but when iv worked it out on paper at £6.31 an hour i really will have pennies left once payed bills. So, how do people do it? I really want this job. Has anyone been in a similar situation? How can i make this work? I cant get tax credits if i do over 30 hrs from what iv researched and the company is not flexible at all, its 32 hrs or nothing. Id be soo greatful if anyone had any ideas x thanks x

If you earn minimum wage, you'd be getting between £7000 and £9000 in tax credits with two children not in childcare.
