Legal position for unmarried relationship

Relationship has broken down 11wks after birth of ds. P was unfaithful weeks following birth and despite all my efforts I can't seem to reignite his interest, not even for sake of ds and our 12 years together exclusively.

Apart from feeling gutted about losing love of life and prospect of single motherhood I have no idea where I stand legally as we are not married - house, finances etc. He moves out tomorrow. help/advice much appreciated.

I would suggest you get to CAB immediately. I only know from my experience Dutch law you would have palimony claim especially with child involved and length of exclusive relationship. Just because you're not married doesn't mean you don't have legal rights. Let me see if I can find some website help for you.

Assuming you, not him, will care for your daughter although you might want to consider shared care of her, then he will have to pay you 15% of his net earnings for the child, if he has any earnings.
Are there any debts in joint names and any assets like the house in joint names?
