Cant give you any good advice essbee, just to say that im absolutely CRAP at dating and id be scared ss too! I think the best thing to do is not to take it too seriously? there was another thread like this somewhere about stuff not to do. it was quite funny

Have no idea how to behave on a date as it's beeen even longer than 11 years for me. I would imagine dating's a bit like riding a bicycle - once you get there you'll know exactly what to do

You sounds like you don't need a dating guide, but I bet he's sitting at home crapping himself on how he managed to get a date with you!

Smiling lots is a good suggestion - it usually works as it covers shyness a treat and if he says "how do you like your eggs in the morning" - leave via the loo window.
