Average £84000 to bring up a child to age 11 yrs.

Whilst I realise there will be some distortions to the figures from either ends and people will shout I manage on a wing and a prayer , it does not detract from the actual issue.

What the hell do the CSA actually base their assessments on?

The correct amount of maintenance for two children for a parent who earns £85000 is £228 a week.

Believe me I know:

£11856 would be a helluva an improvement
£4500 on child care and £7356 for the rest would be an impovement.

My last attempt at improving the level of contribution resulted in, monies being taken away for his share of b day present, xmas present, all food and activities when with him - was not worth it.

It is about control and him controlling my life, what I do and how much I spend. Drives me insane but just get on with it. By the time ,his share of the swimming lessons, sport etc are also paid for, which EX feels are essential - he is defintitely in negative equity and still not fed, clothes, washed, heated and internetted the children!!!
