Any young widows with kids out there ?

Hi ,
I am new to Mumsnet and and was widowed last year .I have 3 girls aged 10,8 and 6 and just wondered if there are any other widows to talk to .

Hi and Welcome. i am not in your situation but thought I would say "Hi" anyway.

I have 4 children (2 of each) aged from 11 to 5 years.

Does your 10 yo have the attitude of a teenager too?

My 10 year old has her head in the clouds mostly but ,my soon to be 9 year old is definately developing attitude (she also has issues over her Dad's death) .

I am dreading adolsecence as i only have 15 months between my eldest 2 .

A mumsnetter called Yorkiegirl was widowed very recently, I'm sure you will come across each other soon. I think there at least a couple more widows here.

Hi Yemalio - am not widowed, but have 3 girls too (11, 7 and 3). My sister was widowed about 9 years ago and found The Way Foundation very good for meeting other widows and widowers locally. Will find link for you.
