I'm 33 with 3 kids, ex doesn't want contact at all with them
Dp is 27. No kids. Doesn't want any of his own right now.
Been together a year, up to now it's been me, him and two of my dc, eldest was with dad but has now moved here. Dp is struggling a little, especially with the thought of spending time alone together (easier to find a sitter for two than three right?)
I can see where he's coming from and we are working on it.
Eldest has been through a really rough time and so times a healer as they say.
Any advice?

Dependant upon how old the eldest it could make it easier. If he isn't likely to cause hassle and actually could be a help.

I would work on supporting eldest settle in and then build a realtionship with DP. Easier to spend time you know and can get on with than a child you don't know
