Right. Lone Parent. Father not on Birth Certificate etc ....

Need to get Passport ASAP for DS 9Mths Old.

How quickly can I get one if I actually go to the passport office in Victoria ....

you would need to phone to see when the soonest appointment is (could be 2-3 weeks after phoning). You can have the 1 week service for a childs first passport.

If it helps I got the dc's first passports in just over 4 weeks, applied in second week of june and arrived just over a week ago. Dad on birth cert but absent for 5 years so he didn't sign any of the forms and I could only give his date of birth on the paperwork (no passport number for him).
