Ex didn't turn up for first arranged contact at weekend.
Arrangement was drop off in my town, pick up in his, keep fuel costs fair, public open place with CCTV
He now refusing to drive to my town. Wants me to drive 10 miles home from work, pick the kids up, drive 10 miles back to a bigger town where he doesn't even live, to drop te kids off at.....a police station!! WTF!
My dd will be scared half to death if I pull up at a police station.
I honestly believe this is just another shitty excuse for him not to have them.
Wish court would hurry up!

Unfortunately even court ordered contact orders can't make the NRP comply.

chin up. Maintain your sense of what is reasonable (not what he says is reasonable) keep records of all arrangements and refuse to make arrangements over the phone so you have a written account of what was agreed and what happened.

You can't make him want or have contact, you can only provide opportunities.

SW arranged it. I just don't see why he's taking me to court when he really doesn't want to see them. Is drive to the ends of the earth for my kids, he won't even do 5 piddly miles. I don't mind dropping them off and picking them up even from his town it's just the principle of the matter.

speak to the sw then . get sw involved and aware as if/when it goes back to court it will be more than just your word against his.
