Went to meet ex at meeting place for contact to start, didn't turn up! 2 dc devastated.... Again!
Today ex drives through our village (no reason to be up this way) give one dc his number, tells him to meet him at 2pm tomorrow and he will take him shopping but not to tell me! Dc is 10! Dc asked him why he didn't pick them up yesterday he "forgot" I'm absolutely fuming!!!!

Oh my god! This is discusting behaviour... How was the contact arranged? Do not arrange anything else for the time being you cant risk upsetting your dcs anymore. Hate men like that, no excuse!

good grief my DD is 10 that's bonkers. Does he do that sort of thing a lot? Tell your DS that its for mum and dad to arrange rather than going through him. How is he supposed to meet his Dad tomorrow without you even knowing? Words fail me.

It was arranged through SW, interim before court, he made every excuse he could not to have them, then agreed then stormed out of the meeting.
I've tried to explain to dc that he can't keep doing this but once again, it's all my fault!
Dc was just going to go to the park with his friends he said, least he was honest. We're not going to meet him, he had his chance, "forgot" isn't good enough! Who forgets their kids!

This is terrible. How dare he try and coerce a 10 year old into that! What a terrible example for him to set.

Glad your son could e honest with you. I think I would explain to your son that if in the future you found out he was not in the park where he said he would be you'd have no choice but to call the police to report him missing andd if he'd simply gone off with his dad it would cause a whole heap of trouble for everyone involved.

Keep a diary of all of this too.

I emailed the SW late last night, feel like I'm constantly mithering her though but I want it documenting while it's fresh in my mind. Ex slipped dc a piece of paper with his number on and told him to ring this 0800mumdad first as it reverses the charges. I'm also now worried he knows where we live, we moved away as he was always turning up unannounced, when it suited, when he fancied seeing the kids, pissed me off cause then we would have a day of upset. I really want them to have some established routine contact. He just can't keep doing this, as and when. Also have another dc age 6 and there's never any mention of her. Looks like today I'm gonna be the wicked witch and a full day of upset
