my ex has court order against him and has moved out of his house giving no forwarding address and stopped payments. Solicitor says I need his job title and work site at hsbc so they can serve documents on him as hsbc have returned the documents when served on head office.

Worried sick as just had cancer, made redundant and no job to go to.

Any help appreciated.

You need a court order ordering HSBC to provide the information. Of course an HSBC employee is not going to jeopardise their job for you!

Woah so embarassed -never even considered it would threaten a persons job. I am not asking for his personal data or anything. If knew where he worked he'd have it on a badge for all to see. Sorry.

Yes I don't see how it can be confidential information. If he's in a public role he's "out there" for anyone to see.
I'm listed in the prospectus at school so not confidential either.
Can you not write to HSBC and say you need his branch number. From there it should be easy to find his title

Will his bank account be opened in the branch he works in? If so you can get the sort code online

Is he on LinkedIn? They often lost the exact job on there...
