Love this song, love the lyrics.

Was having a sad moment whilst washing up thinking I wish I had a man who thought those things of me, but I've completely given up trying and not sure it exists (I used to be a smug married but he played away after 10 years and kids and I question was it ever there for me?)

You are very lucky if you have a man who worships you!

Anyway I wiped away a self indulgent tear and turned around to see my ds age 8 singing along to me - in a cheesy karaoke type way but it made me laugh. Then he gave me a big hug.

It was a lovely moment especially as I normally think my kids love their ipad more than me!!!

Life is good.

Not sure why I've posted here but I think as a lone parent the one big plus is the love between you and your kids is - or at least really feels - stronger. What are your special moments?

I love it when I'm cleaning the kids rooms, thinking how disgusting they are and then I find a picture or a note stuffed down the bed saying something lovely, this week I found a picture I me saying "this is my mummy, is she beautiful? Yes she is" loved it....

Well mine are a little young for grand gestures

but them climbing into bed with me in the mornings is so lovely

weirdly enough as ive been tyoing this, that song has come on the radio.

It does make me sad, never had that love from someone, been told I am not attractive enough for it in no uncertsin terms.

I suppose I still hope...
