DP and I used to meet in park at weekends with kids so they could get to know each other. Graduated to house play and a few sleep overs. He moved in with dcs and I, but mostly had his ds at weekends at his place. When we moved into a new place all together, we did up one room for both ds and his ds with bunk beds. Sometimes we only have one or the other there, sometimes both! 2 years on and dcs seem fine with the situation, they are still young and don't remember much different.
