Cant believe someone can sleep at night that doesnt provide for their child. Ex in and out of work, and I asked CSA to do an attachment of earnings order as this has happened three times in a year, and they said as long as he intends to make a payment then they have to give the benefit of the doubt?! I understand I am lucky to even have £20 a month, as some dont get anything at all. But have been left with £20k debt that I stupidly put in my name (over many years, due to his credit rating) that I am now having to pay via a debt charity, thus affecting my credit now. I work 55 hours a week, and manage all childcare and the bringing up of dd. I just feel so bloody angry Angry

That's crap for you. No advice sorry, just sympathy. Wine

I get £2.50 a week deducted direct from his dole. Yet he earns thousands on eBay every month undeclared. I've now told the fraud office about this, but they don't have the resources to investigate. His attitude: 'let the taxpayers pay for our children' as I was a stay at home Mum until looking for work recently, on benefits.

I do feel a bit Shock Hmm though when I read of some Mums on here complaining at the £800 a month they get in child support 'isn't enough', on top of the £600 a month they'll get in child tax credits plus whatever their wage brings home...plus the family home their divorce granted and half their ex husband's assets.

DSD lives with myself and her dad and we get £5 off her mum - straight from her benefits. We asked her to contribute to a school trip recently and at first she agreed, then when the time came she back tracked because she has a girls' night out this weekend.

Too skint to pay for her own DD but obviously never skint enough not to go out on the piss.

Tumbleweedonspeed - awesome nickname!

You have a right to be "Bloody angry"

I also get £10 a fortnight. His other Ex hasn't claimed CSA otherwise it would be £2.50 a week.

I wish instead of targeting RP they target the deadbeat Dads who are not supporting their children.

Another one here that gets £5 per week for the two DC.

He refuses to work because I got CSA involved, makes my blood boil because he lavishes his girlfriends DC with expensive treats and holidays and his own DC get bugger all!

Oh well, I work hard to provide for them both and hope that one day they will realise it!

Same here. I get zero from my ex. The only time he has paid regularly (6months) was when.an ex of his forced him. Now he is married and his new wife objects I get nothing.

Our ds is 13 and is disgusted with him. Ex told ds that he would start paying again next week. Ds just rolled his eyes.

Your dc will appreciate what you have done for them when they are old enough.
