I am well annoyed at me EX's family ignoring my son so I have sent this
Can you please tell me what I am supposed to say to Jake when he asks why his dad, sister, uncles, aunties, nan, grandad, cousins etc do not want to know that he exists? I am a bit fed up of saying 'I don’t know’ so please give me something solid. Because quite frankly nothing I can say is going to make him feel good about himself. I try really hard to boost his self esteem but knowing that his dad and his family disown him is hard and I can not think of 1 reason why they would. Can you?

Probably not. The fact that you have to ask them why they are doing this speaks volumes about them. Has your ex spun them a story about how it ended or something?

I have the same scenario with my 12yr old dd op. I quite often start to write a letter in my head to them all, but it wont change anything. DD is more than aware of what they are like, and how she has been treated by them. How old is your ds?
