Oh my God where are the checks? and its funded by tax payers

Hi everybody-

I am still trying to work out how this web site operates. It came to my attention after reading several comments on here about neighbors not taking control of screaming kids. I wrote back to a few of the posters but then it didnt seem to come up only on my own computer - but not on the sight.

Maybe it was an old thread and closed but nothing said that. Hoped to be exchanging comments with a few of those ladies and to have been able to support them.

For several years we have suffered because of rude inconsiderate parents with kids that scream all day non stop and the tops of their lungs. Our students moved out and our tenants moved out too.

Child safety was contacted by at least five people -

The grandparents where their daughter moved into with her husband and had many children one after the other are very threatening .

The grandfather threatened my friend and tenant to put the bikies onto her and his wife the grandmother has physically threatened myself on my own property - several times .

Her first problem apparently was that she did not like our 50 year old trees that my late mother had planted-

Then she threatened again on our own property physical abuse - and oh boy the filthy swearing by her is something else.

NOW we find out that a company called My mid wife's has sold her a business advising other mums and dads on her to raise children AND its partly funded by medicare .

Oh my god - Couldn't think of a worse family to advise anybody on raising children.

Why are there not proper checks carried out !

These kids are simply out of control and at least a dozen people either moved out or didnt move in because of the parents and grandparents utter disregard .

Sorry if i confused people. I was originally trying to return a comment to several posters but couldn't seem to get it on that thread.

I am not in the UK. The problem is we have the worst neighbors on earth. We own our home and its been in my family for many decades.
No I cant evict them - they are neighbors who purchased next door about seven years ago.

Despite many people making complaints over the years about these people and their children our authorities did nothing.

To be fair to the authorities they said it was hard fro them to act unless they saw what we had all seen with their own eyes.

One example is the mother of the three year old placed her daughter on a brick wall with a 20 foot drop down to concrete- yelled at her cry cry and walked off and left here there. We were just driving out in our car - and stopped to race back to catch the little one who was rocking back and forth with no balance crying.

When my friend tried to grab the baby so she didnt fall - the mother came over and threatened her . The child almost fell but my friend grabbed her anyway - and then the mother attacked my friend.

So we were all amazed when our government passed her mother - the grandmother as a official my midwife person.

Which is a business here with authority to instruct mums and dads on how to raise their children.

Yes my midwifes is a company in Australia- pretty new.

They give accreditation and sell branches of child care agency.

We can not believe nothing came up with the department of child saftey and the Australian government because at least five people have contacted child saftey about these children and the family over many years.

We honestly thought they would either remove the kids - or at least have somebody going in to teach the people how to care for children-- its needed.

Instead-- the grandmother has been sold a agency to teach others how to look after children.

Its an absolute joke - if it wasn't so concerning.
Of course we still cant open a window or sit in our garden- host students or have tenants because of the noise .

I would be considering taking a complaint to the next level (whatever that is where you are), especially if you have other "people" (neighbours?) also concerned. Record (on paper) everything that happens which is of concern, and get others to do the same. You say you have contacted child safety, have you done this since the grandmother became an agency? HAve you complained to "My Midwives" directly?

I am also fairly surprised to hear you are in Australia, because I had Australia and New Zealand down as a respected leaders in some services, mental health particularly, though don't know so much about social services, but I would imagine the quality of both go hand in hand.
