Not turned up to contact!

Ex has not turned up for contact.

We've been split for 18 months, he's organised contact sporadically and knows that the kids hate contact. He has form for bringing the children home early but this is the first time he has phone off and not turned up. (Should have been here at 9)

How long should I wait in?

Are the kids disappointed? I'd go out now and do something fab. Throw a picnic together and just clear off!
Mine did this for a while and they were gutted so I set a 30 min rule and then we went out every time.

We've gone out. It's way too sunny not to!

The kids are acting as cheerful as usual and have just had a text from him saying he's not coming today.

Apparently he's not sure when he's going to see the kids next. He really doesn't appreciate how much the kids feel more secure when there's a routine. Fucker
