Why is it that it is always the people with low incomes that the government forget to help??
Why is it always the single parent that they let down?
"Come back to work. We'll help you"
They promise tax credits, grant, childcare help ect. ect.
And what do we get? Hassle, Hassle and Hassle!!!
When I went back to work in Dec. last year I didn't get any Tax credits for 4 months. (Can you picture the balence on my bank account?)
Okay when in March they sorted the problem, only to mess it all up again when the year ended in april. Then my son was taken of the system and I started receiving letter saying that I had to pay back ?7'500+. Ahhh!!!!
When I then contacted them, they could put him back on because the system had rejected my case.
Another 3 months without any money.
I then got my MP involved. He got my the money that I was owed and manage to set up manual payments.
However today when I wanted to change something (my childcare has gone up) the system would and on top of everything they have now cancelled my manual payment. Ahhhhh! Again!!
The government has finally shut down the CSA because it was doing more bad than good!
Why can they do the same with the tax credit system?
I needed that! Sorry for the rambling!

Ps. Advise for anyone out there:
If you have problems with Tax Credits, go straight to your MP. They had a special hotline call centre! (tells you how big the problem is!)
