Those little things you have no one to tell thread!

We must all have these moments where the dc do something really cute or funny or scary and we have no one to tell who would be interested. We just have to bottle them up instead. I think we should share those moments here!

Today dd has been wandering around with pull along phone saying "Salty! Salty!" I've finally figured out she is walking Salty the dog from Old Jacks Boat on Cbeebies!

My two are late teens, one at Uni currently home for Easter. ihave so enjoyed hearing her &her younger sister bantering & teasing each other, makes me realise that despite me leaving their dad, 5 years ago. we're Ok. they are 2 happy well developed kids. Even rang me at work to check I was ok & cooked me supper!

I ring my mum and dad and share sometimes but its not the same. if I'm feeling like I really want to share I even message their dad!

I get a cup of tea made now by 9 yr old so will look forward to tea being made for me too

My most special moment these holidays ( bear in mind I have had a virus so can barely speak never mind move) we went to the park and I went as I felt I needed to take him somewhere..We were kicking a ball to each other and he just laughed..It was that carefree moment that just hits you... No money, nothing can beat that laugh from your child.

I fella sleep thisa afternoon on the sofa watching cbieebies with mine, and I felt her get up, get the throw from the back of the chair, put it on me and gave me a kiss and whispered ''love you mummy, you sleep now''.

Ds is 2 and has just these past few days started exclaiming with real happiness, "my mama!" And throwing his arms round my neck. It makes it all so worth while

I've been trying not to laugh this evening when dd has been pointing at me (kind of like the evil monkey does on Family Guy) and shouting "YOUUUUU! Mummy! YOUUUUU!" No idea why though

Awwww. My DS is 21 months and put his arms round my neck to give me a proper cuddle as I carried him to bed tonight.

I love this thread! I have set up an email account for my DDs and every few weeks, I email them with their funny sayings, milestones etc and some pictures of what we have been up to. When they are older, I will give them the password and let them have a read.

My dd(3) went to bed last night knowing I didn't feel very well, she said if feel better in the morning. When I got up, the first thing she said asked was if I'm feeling better. I said not really. She told me to sit down, gave me a cuddle and bossed my DH around to get me blankets and tea.

She does say she wants to be a doctor?!

the email thing is a great idea! i will put that on my to do list. dd 2.5 has just started to colour in the last few days. its been amazing her sitting beside me, both of us just relaxing on the sofa with the blankets, her colouring in and me just relaxing beside her. usually we do not have any down time! it means i get more cuddles!
