By the fact you are stuck with seeing or having to communicate with the father of your child for the rest of your life.

Yes! FFS, I spent this evening cooking him dinner while he acts 'mr fantastic' with DS, despite the fact that he is rarely here I always run around after him to ensure he still visits DS. I think I need to grow some balls!

I hate having to in effect ask his permission before I can go out (so he can babysit.)
