So DH called & said he couldn't look after dd as he was feeling poorly. I had to go and pick her up thing is.... I have a big pile of essays to mark & now am feeling like a bad Mummy for not giving dd a nice wkd & bad teacher for not having got all these essays marked.... I tried to do both but seem to have failed.... Also - I feel like a bad human because I feel so unrested.... maybe it is just a January thing.... ug!!!!!!!

I've decorates my dd's room whilst they were at their dads and feel same as you, I'm bad teacher as none of my essays done. but needed to do her room whilst she wasn't here. so could be a late night for me. dont be too hard on yourself, I find spring term always tough. and in teaching are you ever even running on time let alone ahead of yourself Smile

Thanks so much! Decorating dd's room sounds like SUCH a lovely activity! I once made dd an apple crumble when she was at her Dad's and it was very theraputic to do something for her quietly and slowly by myself rather than hurrying her along out of her daydream while only just managing to kep out of mine - which is what I feel like I spend my life doing.
