I am bloody delighted to have the excuse not to take part in the enforced jollity that is NYE. It's just me, DS and the cats and we're having a great time for 6th year. Watching silly tv, eating rubbish, we usually have a bit of a dance about to the fireworks at midnight

Happy new year! This is year 7 and I am quite happy to be in my PJs with a cup of tea and a book. I had my new year night out last night and I doubt I will be awake at midnight.

This is my 8th NY sitting in but I don't see it as being on my own I have 2 fab kids who are my world. My ex is probably out with his gf but the 1st hug and kiss at 12 will be from my kids. Something he will never have again. Happy New Year to you all. :-)

yep home alone with two sleeping DC. About to clean my kitchen then have a bath and go to bed! whoop whoop. Still, despite biting his little bro and being a wee monster DS1 announced I am definitely his best friend today, so I'm happy.
