So here goes..... My first thread. I have been reading other peoples comments and dilemmas trying to find connections and inspiration for the past year. And I have, it many ways mumsnet has been a lifeline.
I am coming up to the year anniversary of my husbands death - he had a rare bone marrow cancer and died aged 33. I have 2 dds aged 3 and 5, who are little angels and share my tears and laughter. I have read threads on being a lone parent, surviving bereavement, relocating and going back to work full time - all of which I have done or am in the process of doing and am so inspired by the strong capable women out there. I guess I just wanted to say that these posts do matter and sharing experiences (both good and bad) is important. You don't know who is reading, but someone will relate to what you write. So thank you. Xx
