Changing childcare

My ex wants to change childcare provider and I don't! She's been going there since she was 9 months and loves it! He's doing it just to get at me!! Can he do this?

What are your arrangements with your DD?
Do you have a residency order?
Does he have specific reasons why he wants to change?
Would you consider going to mediation to discuss this?
Sorry to ask several questions, but whether he can do this or not does depend on some of the answers.
