my eldest dd just burst into tears over there being no pancakes left for breakfast. but really its about not having her dad here. she's not the tears kind of child. we are only one week in.

our weekends now revolve around when they get to see him. not about us doing anything together. that's old hat. so so sad for all of us. Sad

It really is such early days, it won't always be like this. Once you have contact arrangements in place you will be as to plan things as you always have done.

Get yourselves together and go out - it's amazing how empowering it feels to take charge.

Be kind to yourself.
