What do I tell them?

Dh and I have been having problems for some time & tonight he's gone to his mums for a couple of weeks whilst we see if there's any chance if a future. Eldest DC is 5, what should I tell him? should I be honest? Or make an excuse for now?

Can you just say "Daddy's gone to stay with grandma for a couple of weeks"...? He may not even ask why. :)

I wouldn't lie as it may look that way if you don't sort things out but don't need to know the details...Vague as possible at this time would be my advise
