My friend child went on holiday with his father
The child is smal so she can just have short conversation with her baby

Her ex claimed his phone is not working so he provided
Her with diffrent nr

Whe she txt today and ask to just say good night
They did not answer

HER ex had done it many times before

Is there anything can she do

he phoned her back when DC was already sleeping
Almost two hours later and exploded with swearing at her like usual that she didnt txt him first

She texted him twice before she texted the other nr

I just feel sorry for my friend

That's tough on your friend.

All I can suggest is that she texts the number he's given her and just asks in a friendly way how her DC is, and says she'd love it if they could give her a ring when they get the chance and she finds it hard being away from them.

Reality probably is that the DC is fine and will actually miss her less if she doesn't ring, but I do know how hard it is when you miss your LO so badly :(

And as her friend, take her out, make sure she has plenty to keep her occupied and makes the most of her child-free time so she doesn't have too much time to miss them. If I'm missing mine badly I tidy their rooms for them or go out shopping for clothes, etc for them for when they get back. Seems to help a bit.
