so its the summer hols, we went away the week before the summer hols so had our holiday but what to do on a very limited budget for the rest of the time.
Im sure you will all have amazing ideas ;)

However as an aside dd (7) has just yesterday broke her arm for the THIRD summer holiday in a flaming row so water activities are out, shes right handed but broke the left so is mostly able bodied but its crazy how limiting it is to start with!

also when it happened, i called my other half to take us to hospital, ex was most unamused, was i wrong?
my partner is who i call in any emergency he literally dropped us at the hospital and then went back to work (was faster as he was close by and i had no money for a taxi) i text ex every single step of the way and he could have met us at the hospital but actually chose not too despite me telling him my OH was back at work, ive since had a message from his mum telling me how cruel i am, which ive ignored, especially considering her son has not even been bothered to text/ring dd to see how she is this morning!!

Well I wouldnt phone my ex for a lift to hospital either! Sorry to hear about her arm BTW! Hope shes ok.

What about museums? my dc love them, and many have activities going on over the summer? Park, if.she can manage. Junk modelling. Library. For rainy days cheap DVD, popcorn and duvets on the sofa :)
