I have court at 2 today for an injunction, he's made a status on Facebook saying "court at 2 today hopefully justice will be served, wish me luck!"

Are you allowed to write stuff on Facebook about court proceedings?

I'm
Going for a non molestation order on him

I don't think you can do anything about what he's put on Facebook with regards to this as he hasn't gone in to actual specifics about what it's about. He's just saying he's pretty much got court at 2. I'm not a legal eagle though so may be wrong. I'd post over in legal as you'll probably get a more helpful answer over there.

Don't know but am about to do the same so interested in any replies.

Sorry you are having to go through this, I hope the outcome is positive for you x

You're going for an injunction?

I don't think he's broken any laws or anything as he's not mentioned names or details of the case.

Have you blocked him on facebook?

betterthanever · 24/07/2013 10:40

He can do that - I would not even mention it at court, try and rise above and get a positive outcome for yourself. Good luck.

cestlavielife · 24/07/2013 11:05

stop looking at his facebook, detach.

it isnt relevatn to proceedings.

LuisSuarezTeeth · 24/07/2013 11:39

Yes OP. ex is on bail conditions at the moment, have been advised to get injunction following sentencing.

Hamwidgeandcheps · 24/07/2013 13:44

It can be written in to a non mol that social networking isn't used to contact you or write things about you. However if its granted and you are seen as inviting contact it undermines the order.
Block his Facebook if you really want a non mol you shouldn't give a damn really!

TheProsAndConsOfHitchhiking · 24/07/2013 13:45

You are going for an injunction yest you still have him on Facebook? Hmm

TheProsAndConsOfHitchhiking · 24/07/2013 13:46

*yet

I have deactivated my fcebook, a mutual friend has been keeping an eye on things for me. There was domestic and mental/emotional
Abuse through and after the relationship towards me and the babies. And he has been putting the babies in the lime light; which is sickening for a mother to see. So obviously I'm gonna keep an eye on it when it concerns the babies and myself!!

We got the non mol order in the end anyway; the truth always comes out!

Suppose child proceedings are next, he had it plastered that he has a date for court yet I haven't been notified of a child contact hearing!

Brilliant - I don't suppose he'll be crowing about that on FB Wink

LuisSuarezTeeth · 25/07/2013 21:45

Hope you are ok OP, been thinking of you.

misslaw · 26/07/2013 23:23

your mutual friend isn't helping you by keeping an eye. detach yourself. social networking is the least of your worries.
