Thought I'd share this link, in case it helps anyone struggling with getting CSA claims.

Apparently they can now do credit checks on NRP who are claiming low income, to see if there are any unexplained purchases or credit agreements.

Funny that Ineed ....lots of it about.

Apparently there is roughly £1 MILLION in unpaid parental support

for each COUNTY in the UK. Shock

If Cameron & his goons threw a bit more money at the CSA & made them get a bit more efficient then that figure might go down a bit and some of us could stop claiming!!

When is the other new rule being introduced?

The one where we have to pay for NRP to support their children.

What is nrp?. My daughters 8 now and ex got a court warning letter in November for payments. Continues not to pay and didn't turn up at court so now a liability order against him has been granted (December) for over £8000. Then he's claimed to be self employed from feb! Gone on hol twice this month so far, that I know of ( I've called CSA n told them this - one hol to France with mates and one to Egypt with gf, both for a week). Bailiffs been round on several occasions unsuccessfully so Now just waiting for more to happen. Has anyone had further action taken so I know what they're doing? They said it could end up with his driving licence being taken away from him or time in prison which I've said I'm happy to agree to this 'legal enforcement ' to take place... Still not paid a penny so adding up further! He lives with his mum, my daughters nan so sees my daughter only because she's visiting her nan. Takes absolutely no interest tho. Not once even taken her to the park on his own. ( only time takes any notice is when family that dote on my daughter turn up so he acts the dad to keep them happy - his gdad would have been horrified if knew and would have never left him inheritance if did know - did I mention that? He inherited 7000. Am I right in thinking CSA don't take into account inherited money or lottery wins? Sorry long rant! If anyone knows what csa's steps n stages of what happens r it would b hugely appreciated! I just phone for updates every 2 weeks n hope something's being done. (Sorry if wrong place for this Blush) thank you for any help!
