Have been out studying/working for 12 1/2 hours and just paid the babysitter MORE than I actually earned!

I'm about to go down that route (single working parent) and am extremely worried about the financial cost of childcare.

Are you getting your childcare paid? as you can get upto 75% of childcare paid for. I assume that being a single mum (like me now) you are not earning 52k?
