Ex has been ordered to pay CSA. Apparently 'lost' his job after paying just a couple of months child support last year. I now can see that he was a major part for the company he used to work for in a recent online article dated last month.
How do I go about this? I can call CSA tomorrow and show them the link?
Am fuming that it is with his old employer, which I suspected when he 'lost ' his job but this really is quite blatant. Angry

Paper your kids will know who was there for them. The men seem to think that years of love and support can be turned over in favour of an impressive CV on their behalf Hmm I seriously hope my daughter isn't dim enough to fall for the boasting he is going to treat her to at 18! I likewise doubt your kids will think much of your ex either.
Sadly then we will have the "you poisoned them against me!" blah blah. As if we spend our time talking about them to our DC Hmm

They always say that but the variation form goes to a different team and gives access to the tribunals who can use different evidence to the normal csa so its still worth doing.

Really, tell me more.... I can't provide any real evidence as to lifestyle

When I went to tribunal last year they were able to accept private detective filmed footage the csa can't.

My ex claimed nothing other than a war disablement pension and £65 pw employment the csa accepted this. The tribunal accepted a lack of qualifying for any other benefit combined with him not being homeless or having any debt issues ( credit check) meaning he had debt but was paying it. As evidence that he had more income.

And his gf being his boss meant they mostly ignored her evidence where as the csa thought it was the bee all and end all.

They can request more info from him as well like bank statements ect. But you have to have requested a variation and it been turned down and appealed before you can go to tribunal. Entertainingly my ex is likely to be jailed for tax fraud due to the tribunal finding evidence that was passed onto hmrc his gf was also arrested but I'm not sure if she's going to court or not.

Really interesting about the Variation.
I am going to call the CSA again on Thurs when DD has her half day at nursery and see where they are and will go from there. If I ask for a variation will that stall/cancel what they are doing now though?

Sock my ex's g.f will be in on it too, as I think he is living with her and driving around in her Audi Hmm but then, he can probably afford his own now!

No it won't all it does is ask for other things to be considered.

When you phone the csa don't get into it with who ever you talk to ( they appear to be trying to talk people out of doing it for some reason) just assertively ask for the variation form to be sent to you.you don't have to give a reason for wanting it.

Thanks. They have always been very good with me to be honest - I think something to do with the fact he has never yet spoken to them and given them the run around seems to irritate them enough to keep on his heels Grin but I will be aware they may try to talk me out of it. Cheers for all of your help Thanks Such a shame there are so many men who can't live up to their responsibility.
