Have any of you made a 'family contract'?

DD(9) is really struggling with the difference between my home (standard family rules helping etc) and ExH and OW's (virtually feral).
So to help her I suggested together we draw up a family contract of what we each will (I will cook meals and wash clothes she will set the table).
Has anyone else done this? And did it help?

I haven't yet but it's an interesting idea. my kids have limited contact with their dad at present but there is a definite change to their whole attitude and manners when they come home - as well as the fact that they smell of stale cooking and dirty sofas Sad And the thing is that until he moved in with her, we actually had fairly similar expectations of the kids in terms of manners and expectations with regards day to day stuff.

Definitely worth thinking about - at home we eat at the table etc - they don't do any of that when they are with him and OW.
