my ex pays no maintenance at the minute hes on the dole he threatened to stop seeing them if i took the £5 a week so i dont as said in the other thread im always trying to do whats best for them and i want them to have contact with him.

hes about to move in with a woman so loses all his benefits shes on a massive wage huge house etc so he will be essentially a kept man so i wont be entitled to any maintenance is this correct?

im doing my best for them they dont go without but sometimes i do and after 2 years im getting fed up of struggling for every single penny although I guess at least one of us is teaching our children some worthy ethics!

Goto the CSA and tell them what's going on. That way it's them dealing with him and not you. When my DP moved in with me we were both assessed.

As far as I know, unless they have dependent children living with them, her income isn't taken into account at all.

I wouldn't imagine she'll put up with him for long!

No her income isn't included at all, whether they have children together or not. If she's on a huge wage then she probably won't be receiving tax credits either. She could be a multi millionaire and give your ex the life of luxury, but her income would never be taken in to account.

thank you, its good to know roughly where i stand although i will still be contacting CSA least then if he ever does get off his lazy behind and get a job it can sort payments straight away, backdate the years hes not paying while shes supporting him maybe?
