when do you get to the point of cutting contact with the ex (dad)

At what point did/do you decide when its

If he won't compromise or meet you half

My ex has only now got access via mobile
& I'm thinking I may even have to block
Calls so he can only text.he's such a pain

Who granted him the phone contact?

Everyone's story is different....can't he use a contact centre?

I stopped normal, every day contact as he was unreliable and still angry after 6 months. Then I made XP go to mediation, which he was asked to leave for being angry.

Then I arranged a contact centre and he e-mailed he to say he wouldn't attend - twice.

So, in a good way we haven't had to deal with him in 3.5yrs. With a bit of luck he won't appear again, I would do everything I legally could to stop him if he turned up.

If someone is angry and unreliable then IME it's time to start laying down the law. This will be easier if they are so crap they will never fight for contact or bother with a solicitor.

Yes I'm kinda hoping he can't be bothered with the legal stuff, I have whittled down contact slowly to this & he would never a free to mediation or a contact centre, he won't even just meet up for a morning as he doesn't want to be seen as a sad dad, his loss though as I paid for a room for 2 nights so he cold see DD for her birthday but he said he would only meet up if we stayed with him....power stuff.

Yummy you sound like how I was. I tried everything. DD is four months now. I don't see why I should pay to go to court when it's him choosing to not see her.
The final straw was when he threw a tantrum after threading to take her from me after I said no to a visit involving 3.5 hours out of 4 in a car.

We haven't heard a thing since. I have tried all I can, everything is documented in a diary, emails and texts printed out for an event such as court or DD when she's older if e tries to brainwash her.
Have you tried saying no phone contact? How old is LO? Could anyone else supervise him? The stress of the situation your in has made me very ill.
I hope it gets sorted Smile
