I've got a date and I'm bricking it! Help!

Ok so I'm on my own with my DD(6) and have been since she was born.

It's taken me a ridiculously long time to get over my ex and the whole sorry situation so although I have had a few little flings, there has been no-one "serious" since then. Mostly Internet dates that have then led to a short term fling (though one did last a year).

So tomorrow I have a date with a man who I know through my DDs school. I have been for a coffee with him and chat to him quite a bit in the playground and now we are going for a drink!

Argh! I really like and fancy him and I feel all vulnerable. What to wear? Where to go? Heeeeeelp!

Aww how lovely :-) Just try to stay calm and be yourself. He's probably nervous too! Perhaps have a think beforehand about some topics of conversation for those quiet times. If you're just going to a local pub then I would perhaps wear jeans and a nice top. Just remember he must like you too or he wouldn't have asked you to go for a drink. Be confident in yourself. Well I survived and it was .... GREAT!

We had a really nice time (and a good old fashioned snog) and hopefully seeing him again at the weekend.

I feel very vulnerable now I do really like him though!
