Be happy, enjoy and build on bond with your kid/s. Find time for yourself, take all family support offered. Good luck, there will be somes downs but I find the ups a million to one outweigh the downs

wishing you all the best almostanangel xxx - do you know anyone in your new area that you can meet up with for a chat?

spursmum · 09/04/2006 21:09

Enjoy the little things as they will keep your spirits up when you get a little lonely.
e.g Taking up the whole bed, ultimate conrol over the tv, eating what you like when you like etc.

My tip - is get yourself a routine - and be obsessional about keeping to it, downs always seem worse when you have also got behind on the housework! A small thing I know, but can make a real difference to get up knowing that everything around you you did!

Good luck - I don't know your storey I am afraid but hope it all works out for you.

almostanangel · 10/04/2006 20:12

Do things for yourself as well as the kids. I was lucky cos my parents helped, so I had me time and stayed sane.

Also get out there and do stuff, without worrying about it. I was really wary of doing stuff on my own that I'd done with ex-h like days out but once I got on with it I found it easy. I am still very proud of myself for taking my kids abroad by myself
