Hi there, I have spoken to a solicitor as things need to be sorted out with regards, the house, maintenance, access etc. It seems to be a minefield if you have been together and have a mortgage etc but are not married. I am hoping to get legal aid but am not sure what the regulations are and how to proceed? Has anyone gone through this? How is it assessed? Is it a horribly long drawn out affair?
