she is with someone.

We get on well and it makes me feel good to see her and to talk with her.
A similar thing happened in the uk and we ended up in the sack, but I felt guilty and so did she.

I know the woman in uk was not happy with dp but I didn't let things move on. I was worred about her leaving her partner and if it didn't work between us.

Should I say anything to the woman here or just let it go?

by the way its jmg with a trial name.

drop me an email

HappyMumof2 · 28/03/2006 15:56

I'm in Islington RubberDuck - don't think you'd want to give up sunny Portugal for that now, would you? Although I wouldn't mind a few weeks in the sun! Are there lots of single men out there????

HappyMumof2 · 28/03/2006 15:57

I've thought about the online dating too but always get put off when I see the selection of photos Blush

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 16:00

Hi, long time no speak! Have snuck on net at work so have to be quick - tell her how you feel, tell her nothing would happen while she's with someone and DON'T sleep with her, then see what she does - easiest on everyone that way.

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 16:00

And the name has got to go!

nutcracker · 28/03/2006 16:03

I signed up with a couple of dating agencies but you wanna see the mingers that try and contact me. I mean i am no oil painting but bloody hell.

HappyMumof2 · 28/03/2006 16:04

I know nc! That's how I feel. I may be desperate but I'm not that desperate! (yet) Wink

nutcracker · 28/03/2006 16:05

LOL Exactly Happymum Grin

Hiya Wobbly Smile

kid · 28/03/2006 16:05

hey HMO2, are you going to parents evening tonight? I just got home from school.

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 16:06

I signed up with one once (after half a bottle of wine with a mate) and got 'interesting' men - such as one who said he liked water and ricecakes (!!!!) - bit of a lottery but might as well try it as not

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 16:06

hi nutty, how are things?

nutcracker · 28/03/2006 16:07

I'm ok ta Wobbly, nothing a bottle of vodka and a nice bloke wouldn't cure Wink

How are you ??

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 16:11

Get 2 bottles of vodka, nice blokes are incredibly few and far between and when they come along they usually fancy someone else. Drink the vodka while you wait for mr perfect to turn up :o

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 16:12

I'm fine, enjoying myself - would like a new bloke to complete the picture but not going to shed any tears over it - if he wants me he can come and find me.

nutcracker · 28/03/2006 16:12

God i think if i wait for one to find me i'll be ancient LOL

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 16:15

Mine's got about 11 years to find me, then I'm considering batting for the other side Wink Still hoping the guy at work will come in one day and realise he fancies me, not the girl in the other office Grin

nutcracker · 28/03/2006 16:27

Awww he must have crap in his eyes Wobbly Grin

Did it tell you i got a job ???? Anyway haven't got it anymore LOL

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 16:32

Aww, thanks, no the other girl is drop dead gorgeous, sweet as anything and DOESN'T have a sproglet so no competition! :o What was the job? And can we chat on \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=1375&threadid=159303\here} - I don't want to start hijacking jmg's threads after only TWO days of being back (I'll leave it at least 2 weeks before I start that again)

nutcracker · 28/03/2006 16:33

Oooops yeah sorry JMG Smile

HappyMumof2 · 28/03/2006 16:36

just had a quick look at one of the dating sites Blush the majority of blokes look 'weird' and the ones that don't say they don't want someone with kids Sad I think I'm destined to stay single for ever more!

kid, I'm not going, have S here & his mum coming soon. How comes you were at work today?

YouCantCrackMeImARubberDuck · 28/03/2006 18:10

hijack as much as you like!

wobbly I knew you could not keep away, there is no escape from mn.

do you remember those threads we had about dating a long time ago?

so you don't like the name.

happymum
There more single men than single women. Maybe men are more likely to travel to a foreign country on their own.

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 19:23

Yep, I remember the threads and think you should try it as much as possible - what's the worst that can happen? And I HATE the name, keep thinking you've grown fat and yellow.

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 19:24

And I did escape from MN, for ages, but I sensed people needed me.

satine · 28/03/2006 19:24

I think it often spells trouble to go straight from one relationship into another. If this woman does split with her dp, I think it would be best to give her a bit of recovery time before making your move. Otherwise there's all kinds of baggage and emotional fallout which can scupper a new relationship.
