hi im penny, 23 from birmingham. my baba is 6months. basically my friends are either kidless and are always out or are always in with there partner and child. theres no middle balance and im feeling really lonely. I would love to meet other single moms who like going out every now and again but aso just like chillin. if any1 feels the same or wouldnt mind another friend im here :)

Hi penny, I have the same problem (except i'm one of those old birds in their 30's ).

I'm assuming you're new here? Have you had a look for a meetup in your area? (I'm presuming mn still have them although I haven't been on here much for a while and i've never been brave enough to attend one myself!)

no I havnt iv always thought that id just be sitting there because my little-un is only 6months and isnt going to be playing. prob b asleep the whole time.

I don't think they always take the kids...not from what i've gathered anyway

In my area, SW, there is a group for single parents. I looked in to it as I am about to become one myself :) They seem to do a lot of different activities and all geared up for single parents. I can't remember what it is called but I just googled. Maybe you could look into something like that where people are more understanding of what it is like to be on your own with kids and having to sort out childcare etc.
