exh of 2 years been on holiday with kids and his gf. my dd text me whilst she was away to say her dad is getting married.........im sluffened but not cos i wanthim back or care he is with her its just the fact he is getting married!!! WTF

Its good you found out while the kids are away so you can sort out your feelings I suppose. It is weird to think someone you were married to and did that whole thing with is doing it again but with someone else.

sluffened maybe a yorkshire thing....upset . and yes your right it was good to find out without kids there because i now talk openly about it..... just a bit odd really

It is upsetting to hear something like that, even if you don't want him back. Your daughter will have feelings about it as well and may be unsure about what it means for her and for her relationship with her dad.

Also 2 years isn't all that long. Has he been with gf for long? Is she likely to be a nice stepmum or do you have worries about that?

Hopefully it will work out fine but there's lots to think about and its good that you have tme to digest the news.
