Missed the deadline for my child tax credits renew ... anyone else?

Missed the deadline for my child tax credits renew yesterday ( I know, I know, but I've had more presssing issues like potential eviction on my mind to get around to it).

Has this happened to anyone else? Does it mean this Friday I am not going to receive any tax credit? (Which is the major part of my benefits income).
How long did it take other people for their late claim to process?

I'm running round like a headless chicken over this. It's going to be the financial straw that breaks this camel's back :'(

This happened to me last year as they lost my renewal. I just phoned up and confirmed there were no changes. I don't think I missed out on any payments

Call the helpline ASAP (make sure you've got all your last years income details with you) if your claim hasn't yet been terminated they should be able to just do your renewal for you. If it has been terminated they will be able to restore it, as long as you call within 60 days, but may mean a delay in payments while the claim restores.
