self-employment for lone parents

Hi I am a single mum of two boys and would love to be self employed but am fraid to take the risk of setting up a retail shop in teenage fashion is there any one with experience in this area i would luv to hear from anyone who could give me advice many tanx, Grin

i am self employed single parent - self employment means risks - mine weren't too huge but i would have thought setting up a shop would cost a huge whack of cash! i would go to your new deal lone parent advisor at local jobcentre - they should point you in right direction. if you are in wales you can get a free business advisor
