I currently work 16 hours per week and get wtc. I know the hours has changed to 24 hours per week for couples with children to get wtc.

Can single parents still get wtc if we work 16 hours per week?

I thought it was staying the same, until universal credit.

No. They changed for couples - so couples have to do 24 hours between them, but single parents still only have to do 16.

Universal credit comes in next April - I heard it was chaning to 20 hours then, but I'm not sure they've finalised it yet.
