Any good stories for under 5s on single parent families?

Can anyone recommend any good stories for under 5s with either single mum or dad? Or even any stories at all even if they're a bit rubbish :)

Harry and Dinosaurs mum is a single parent but it doesnt say that explicitly I dont think
